The first Barbeque Nation Restaurant was opened in India by SHL, one of the Promoters in 2006. It is one of the leading casual dining chains in India, barbeque nation pioneered the concept of “over the table barbeque” live grills embedded in dining tables allowing guests to frill their own barbecue’s right at their tables.
As of November 30, 2019,Barbeque Nation Restaurants, As a leading casual dining restaurant chains owned and operated 138 Barbeque Nation Restaurants in 73 cities in India, seven International Barbeque Nation Restaurants in three countries outside India and ten Italian cuisine restaurants, nine of which are under the brand name “Toscano”, in two cities in India.

Barbeque nation tried to enter the stock exchange by placing application on august 14,2017 but withdrawn from it before listing on December 18,2017 as it does not meet certain criteria said by the exchanges.
